Am I eligible for the Welcome Bonus?

Yes! All players that create a WSOP.ca verified account, including those migrating from GGPoker will receive the Welcome Bonus.

What is WSOP.ca?
World Series of Poker Canada is an online poker room serving Ontario, Canada.

Is WSOP.ca different from GGPoker?
Yes. However, WSOP.ca is powered by GGPoker, meaning the software, features, and promotions are similar.

Was my GGPoker Account Migrated to WSOP.ca?

Ontario-registered GGPoker accounts were automatically migrated to WSOP.ca on September 30.

Can I still play at GGPoker?
GGPoker no longer operates in Ontario. You can play on GGPoker if you are physically located outside of Ontario and located in a region where GGPoker operates. Players whose GGPoker accounts were migrated to WSOP.ca will need to create a new GGPoker account.

Can I play WSOP.ca outside of Ontario?

No. WSOP.ca will only operate in Ontario.

Can I have a WSOP.ca account and a GGPoker account?

Yes. They will be separate accounts. You can play WSOP.ca when you are in Ontario and GGPoker when you are outside of Ontario and physically located in an area where GGPoker operates. You are not required to have the same screen name.

My GGPoker account was migrated, but I don't live in Ontario.

If your GGPoker account was migrated to WSOP.ca and you are physically located outside of Ontario, you will need to create a new GGPoker account.

How can I play on WSOP.ca?
After WSOP.ca launches.

Current GGPoker Players (“I have an existing GGPoker account”):
1. Log in to GGPoker
2. Follow the prompts to download the new WSOP.ca game client

3. Log in to WSOP.ca client using your GGPoker credentials

4. Accept WSOP.ca Terms & Conditions
5. If necessary, enter required personal information for verification

Players without a GGPoker account will need to download the WSOP.ca game client from the WSOP.ca website and create a new account.

How do I verify my account?

Upon your first login to WSOP.ca, you will go through a player verification process where players will be required to fill in their personal details. Some players may be required to upload their photo ID to complete the verification process.

Below is a list of the types of photo identification that are acceptable:

For International Residents (including USA):

Driver's Licence (all countries)
Passport (all countries)
NEXUS Card (USA or Canada)
Global Entry Card (USA)

For Canadian Citizens and Canadian Permanent Residents:

Driver's Licence
Passport
Citizenship Card (issued prior to 2012)
Permanent Resident Card
Provincial or Territorial Identity Card
Provincial Services Card
Secure Certificate of Indian Status

Note: Provincial Health Card, Social Insurance Number Card and Birth Certificate cannot be accepted as a photo ID Card.

My account was migrated from GGPoker. What happened to my GGPoker balances?
Cash, C$ and T$ balances will be exchanged from USD to CAD using the exchange rate at the time of migration, and then transferred to your WSOP.ca account.

My account was migrated from GGPoker. What happened to my unused tournament tickets?
Tournament tickets will be converted to the equivalent value of T$ and transferred to your WSOP.ca account.

My account was migrated from GGPoker. What happened to my GGPoker promotions?
Your Honeymoon for Newcomers and Deposit Match Welcome Bonus will transfer over from GGPoker to WSOP.ca. You'll also be able to take advantage of all of the other promotions being offered at WSOP.ca. To learn more about the promotions, visit WSOP.ca.

My account was migrated from GGPoker. What happened to my uncollected Fish Points / Rewards (Platinum)?

Uncollected Fish Points will be applied to your Fish Buffet account to determine your final Fish Buffet Rank. Uncollected rewards will be credited to your wallet prior to migration.

My account was migrated from GGPoker. What happened to my uncollected Fish Points / Rewards (Non-Platinum)?

Uncollected Fish Points will be applied to your Fish Buffet account to determine your final Fish Buffet Rank. Unopened wheel spins will automatically be opened and be credited to your account prior to migration.
